The Liquid Glass Centre celebrates its tenth birthday this year. To mark the occasion there will be a series of exhibitions, master-classes, events, symposium and demonstrations.
September 20th -26th
 
The beautiful riverside setting of the Liquid Glass Centre will be the venue for the largest display of outdoor glass art in the UK. The trail straddles the Somerset Wiltshire border, and this magical location offers the opportunity for glass art to be viewed in settings such as flower filled valleys and meadows, dramatic waterfalls, riverbanks and trees.
During the trail special boat trips will run to give visitors the opportunity to view the sculptures from the river.
 
 
Various speakers’ talks on glass and public art, glass and business and individual artists talks.
 
Networking event and evening party Saturday 25th September.
 
 
Joseph Harrington: ‘Ice, Straw and More’ – dynamic kiln casting
James Deverux: ‘Hot Sculpture’ – using hot glass as a sculptural medium.
The Liquid Glass Team: ‘The Roll-Up’ – amazing fusion of fusing and blowing techniques.

In conjunction with CGS
Angela Jarman, exquisite kiln cast forms.
Karen Willenbrink - Johnson, truly awesome hot glass sculpture.

 
 
 

Exhibition:

An curated exhibition of exciting fresh contemporary glass from new and established makers. With a Liquid Glass Art Award.
