CORPORATE AND TEAM BUILDING
Looking for something unique for your corporate training/team building days!
As well as running a superb range of glass related courses, the Liquid Glass Centre also offers a selection of products aimed at businesses ranging from teambuilding and reward days to conferences and office parties.
Hot Glass Teambuilding
The exciting environment of the hot glassblowing studio is perfect for teambuilding and confidence development. This ancient craft is traditionally a team exercise with each member playing a vital role in the making of the piece.
The Glass Teambuilding days offer the chance for groups of up to 25 people to learn the basics of glassblowing. Participants will learn how to ‘gather’ the molten glass from the furnace, how to shape it using specialist tools, and then - using the skills acquired - you will make a selection of amazing, colourful paperweights and vases.

|
The groups are normally split into teams with each member taking turns to be the team leader. The glassblowing workshop is a dynamic, fun place where the tutors encourage people to be as creative as possible and to work successfully together, developing good communication between the individual team members. The Hot Glass Teambuilding days are designed to be motivational, fun and rewarding as well as a bonding experience that builds team confidence and spirit. Each team member also gets to keep their fantastic glass creations as permanent reminders of their achievement.
There will also be an opportunity for the group to join together to create a large display panel featuring their company name or logo using a process of glassmaking called ‘fusing’.
The end product will be a wonderful work of art and should take pride of place on the office wall. |
Both sexes and all age groups will really enjoy the activity of glassblowing. We can tailor the days to suit your own specific requirements whether they be breaking the ice, rewarding staff, troubleshooting or just general confidence-building. Please phone to discuss what we can do for you and your organisation.
