WE HAVE EXPANDED!
The Liquid Glass Centre has expanded, due to the ever growing popularity of our courses we have been able to almost double our workshop space to create a new dynamic Centre.

This new space joins our existing building, and is also a traditional stone built barn, a doorway has been created between the two workshops to create a much larger space with areas for coldworking, kilnworking, beadmaking/torchworking, glass blowing and a small gallery area.

GALLERY
Within the new space the Centre now has a small gallery area to showcase the work of our talented team of tutors, and also examples of our students work. The Liquid Glass Centre will occasionally also use this space to exhibit the work of contemporary British glass makers

NEW BLOWING STUDIO & ECO FURNACE
This new space has become a state of the art glass blowing studio. It is equipped with four glory holes, large kilns and a new furnace. This new furnace has been designed and built to be very fuel efficient and therefore more environmentally friendly. The blowing studio has large double doors which open on one side to allow a cool breeze into the hotshop, and on the other side a door opens into the garden and deck area.

GARDEN AREA
We now have a lovely garden area, with stone walls, a deck, plants and a sitting area, perfect for relaxing lunches and tea breaks, the garden enjoys the sun most of the day and has views into the fields and over the riverside camping. We hope to install some glass sculptures in the garden area in the near future.

COLD WORKING AREA
The Liquid Glass Centre has a comprehensive range of cold working equipment: sandblaster, flat bed, diamond saw, linisher, drills as well as engraver and air polishing tools, all for use on our courses. This equipment has been re-housed in a more spacious, user friendly area.
