This project was commissioned by a private individual who wanted to restore the Georgian gas lantern outside their property in Bath to its former glory. After studying original photographs of the lanterns, we then recreated the piece by free blowing the glass, which was made to fit exactly into the metal case that holds it at the top, it was most important that it closely matched the original as the lantern and the metal work is listed.
